Fleet Manager

Location: Heerenveen — Omrin

Professional, innovative and connecting. For our client Omrin, we are looking for an incisive Fleet Manager. You are technical and process oriented. You have a passion for people and are also service-oriented. We are looking for an enthusiastic and incisive leader with vision for the future and you know how to bring your team with you. You are communicative, do what you say and love to solve complex situations with your analytical skills.

As Fleet Manager at Omrin, you will lead the technical team. You have a plan on further development of both people and the fleet, monitor budgets and are always aware of the ins and outs of your department. You take care of investment plans and lead cost reduction projects. You will be responsible for the operational management of all (varied) vehicles and have visibility into maintenance costs, turnaround times and fleet availability. You bring atmosphere to the department and are hands-on in the operation. In this role, your location is Heerenveen, you will directly manage 5 people and report to the operations manager.

FUNCTION REQUIREMENTS

  • Hbo/wo (Technical, SCM, Logistics) Business background;
  • Managerial experience in a technical environment;
  • Knowledge of engineering and workplace processes;
  • Knowledge and experience with management models such as lean six sigma;
  • Excellent command of MS-Office package, BI tools and IT packages related to fleet management.
