
Manager of Fleet & Application Management

As Manager Fleet & Application Management, you will be facilitating the various operational departments and management with the goal of getting the fleet optimally deployable . You are responsible for organizing information needed to improve operational and strategic processes. Examples include: car/driver performance, data charters, fuel consumption, etc. You organize the data into reports that management can do something with! You make different IT systems communicate optimally with each other. The operation of the fleet management system and associated on-board computers is also your responsibility. This may involve engaging with suppliers to build and/or optimize links, for example.
You will also be responsible for fleet management. You organize insurance and permits and get claims handled.
FUNCTION REQUIREMENTS
- Education: college work/thinking (a degree in Technical Business Administration or Business Informatics is a plus);
- Relevant experience: number of years in similar position e.g. fleet manager/fleet manager;
- Knowledge of logistics software, for example: trip registration systems, TMS, on-board computers, etc.
It is important for the position that you have an affinity for the software used in a transportation company. Furthermore, you are by nature someone who is good at keeping an overview. In addition, you are task-oriented and are good at managing several projects at once. You are incisive and can communicate well. You are in frequent contact with the key users of the various systems and can listen well and sense their needs. You know how to translate those needs into action/improvement plans and know how to organize them quickly with the necessary stakeholders. In short, an organizational talent and good at managing projects in a hectic environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS
The Transport and Logistics collective bargaining agreement applies to this position. Salary depends on knowledge and experience, but fundamentally, the premise is that a good candidate may advance.
