Decisive, flexible and communicative. For Van den Haak – Transmission, we are looking for an inspired leader for TransNight Parts Distribution who is focused on improvement and connection. With a positive and constructive attitude, you know how to lead your staff, enabling them to perform at their best. This means that you will ensure a good working atmosphere and proper direction and guidance. You keep an eye on quality and efficiency: for the customer, staff, yourself and the organization. 

In this position you will have a lot of responsibility and every day you will face new challenges. It is therefore important that you stand firmly in your shoes. You are strong in solving logistics problems and know how to address bottlenecks in processes. You will manage charters and be responsible for the logistics process. Relationship management is also an important part of this position: you will be heavily involved in client contact and creating reports for them. 

As Operations Manager Parts Distribution, you will lead the TransNight organization and its staff: inside sales staff and drivers. You will be part of the MT and report to the Managing Director. TransNight is running 24 hours a day, but your standard working hours are during the day. Of course, you will also be present occasionally in the evening and at night, but you can compensate for this time just fine.

  • HBO working and thinking level;
  • 5 to 10 years of leadership experience;
  • Expert in cross-docking, KPIs and safety;
  • Results-oriented, people-oriented, stress-resistant and communicative;
  • Team player who knows how to get things done.

A true family business with now the fourth generation at the helm.
