As a General Manager, you are numerically sound, solution-oriented and have a vision for the world of transportation.

You will manage the Koopman Cargo branch in Nijkerk. You direct planning, administration and operations. This involves about 100 people. You spar with your commercial manager about sales opportunities. You will be P&L responsible, part of the MT and report to the management. You are involved in process improvement towards customers and in the IT field, you are part of company-wide projects such as the implementation of a new TMS system. You will immerse yourself in the world of transportation and keep abreast of the latest developments.  You solve potential problems adequately and you are the face of Koopman Cargo.

Job Requirements:

– Leadership experience 

– Completed HBO education preferably in the direction of Transport and Logistics

– Knowledge of TMS, or automation

– Demonstrated leadership development

– Financial understanding
