
Manager of HR & Organizational Development

In this role you give direction to HR policy and translate strategic goals into concrete results. About the position
As Manager HR & Organizational Development, you will give direction to the further professionalization of Van der Werff Logistics. You build a future-proof HR policy that not only puts systems and processes in order, but also actively contributes to culture change and leadership development. In close cooperation with the CEO, you are a strategic sparring partner and confidant. You fulfill a connecting role between management and operations, supporting executives in their personal and professional growth.
You will also focus on attracting, binding and developing talent within the entire organization. There is specific attention for the drivers – an indispensable link in the success of Van der Werff – and for the development of all colleagues who together carry the organization. You inspire and guide the HR team in their growth and know how to bring out the best in them. At both the head office in Heerenveen and the location in Waalwijk, you work together with enthusiastic HR professionals who are committed to people and organization on a daily basis.
Your profile
- At least a completed college degree in HRM, Occupational and Organizational Psychology or similar field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a managerial HR position within a dynamic organization.
- Experience building and leading an HR department.
- Affinity with the transportation industry is a plus.
- Experience with OGSM or similar methodologies is a plus.
