Aftersales Project Manager

Location: Heeg — Wajer Yachts

Are you process-oriented, communicatively strong and an organizational talent? As Aftersales Project Leader for the Care (service and maintenance) department at Wajer Yachts, you know better than anyone how to completely unburden customers. Wajer Yachts is known for its stylish, sporty motor yachts of exceptionally high quality. This high quality is reflected not only in the exclusive boats, but also in the quality of service. The Care department guarantees its (inter)national customers in the very highest segment of the market carefree ownership and optimal boating pleasure. Technical service and maintenance is carried out from the shipyard in Heeg (Friesland). This can range from standard maintenance, winter storage to complete refits of existing boats.

As Aftersales Project Manager, you play an important, central role in this. You will be responsible for 30 to 40 maintenance projects and Refits from A to Z. You will coordinate work with Operations Managers, working in different countries, and the customers.  In order to give the best advice to the customer you will consult on maintenance, possible upgrades to the boat and take stock of its condition. Based on this data and insights gained, you prepare an offer. After the client’s approval, you will make a plan of action and work preparation and get to work with your colleagues and be in charge of all the work that follows. You then organize a kick-off with the foremen and support them as needed. You will supervise and coordinate the execution of the work through to completion and make adjustments where necessary. You will arrange transportation, ensure clear planning for the workshop and order necessary materials and services within existing framework contracts. You have many internal and external contacts, especially suppliers and colleagues. You are ultimately responsible for delivering projects on time and on budget. As a project manager, you will also be responsible for administration and billing. At the end of the project, you coordinate the handover to the customer and ensure that the customer can once again enjoy optimal boating pleasure. When questions arise after completion, you handle them to the satisfaction of the customer.
