Business Controller

As Business Controller, you are the financial conscience of the organization and the sparring partner of the BU manager. You unleash your knowledge, experience and innovative outlook on the financial and operational processes. You continuously seek improvement opportunities for processes and departments. You take the people around you in your mindset and convince them of your fact-based advice.

Your duties: 

  • You provide structural and ad hoc management information including monthly and KPI reports
  • You compile reports of result calculations and statements and provide explanations
  • You contribute to the establishment of business and financial standards
  • You will support and advise directors and management regarding the analysis of the development of profitability, budget monitoring and the establishment of critical perfomance indicators
  • You will support the preparation and coordination of the business plan and budget
  • You monitor the progress of projects and review interim results against set project objectives
  • You will develop, improve and provide management information at the organizational and business unit level as needed.

 

Job Requirements Business Controller

  • Academic work and thinking level (business economics); 
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience as a Business Controller within a larger organization;
  • Strongly developed analytical ability;
  • Affinity for automation, data analysis and control;
  • Good communication skills, command of the Dutch and English languages in word and writing;
  • A solid interlocutor at both strategic and operational levels
