Are you that technical strategist with a heart for engineering and leadership? For our client WastePartners, we are looking for a pioneer in managing and maintaining a challenging fleet. We are looking for a business manager for the Utrecht and Helmond locations who is excited by this challenge!

At WastePartners, you are responsible for the deployability of our customers’ fleets. A nice broad palette focused on urban cleanliness and recycling. From garbage trucks to sweepers. Thus, the scope of work is diverse and we contribute to a clean living environment. 

The challenge on wheels

You are at the helm of our operation where no day is the same. You will lead a team where mechanics are as diverse as our vehicles. In Utrecht, you are the face for both your team (approx. 15 colleagues) and the stakeholders. In Helmond, you will manage a team of 3 colleagues. You focus on improving team efficiency. Your goals are determined by the maximum deployment of the fleet. But above all, you focus on the human being. For you, every colleague counts! You work closely together and know what’s going on.

Versatile leadership

In this role, you combine tactical consultation with strategic decision-making. You manage, motivate and inspire your team. Training, staff scheduling and equipment management are just some of your responsibilities. Diplomacy and transparency are your tools to put the operational puzzle where you are always looking for improvements and innovations.

Your technical-experience counts, we ask

• A leadership background in a technical operations industry;
• HBO working and thinking level in a technical/business field;
• Concrete experience in the automotive industry (5+ years);
• Commitment to the region in which you work;
• Competencies to quickly switch between different processes;
• Flexibility appropriate to the dynamic environment and position. Be able to work with digital solutions such as Fleet Management and Dealer Management Systems.
• Knowledge of financial reporting
