Chief Planner International Refrigerated Transport

Do you like to take the lead? Do you fit well into the Twente culture and do you naturally take charge? We are looking for an executive Transportation Planner who will bring calm, make decisions and perform at the highest level with the team every day. 
In this position, you will be responsible for Dasko’s international transport planning from Almelo. You are ace point of contact for fellow 4 planners, drivers and management. You take the lead, help plan and facilitate that the team can perform optimally. From Almelo, about 70 own cars plus charters are scheduled daily on international routes. You consult with commerce regarding the amount of work and know this area of tension like no other. You have contact with customers, charters and your colleagues in Germany and Poland. You can work well in a process-oriented way and take your colleagues along with you! You can handle stress well and you know how to distinguish side issues from main issues. 
You will work in a passionate team with fellow planners and assistant planners. The same department also employs freight forwarders and assistant planners. There is a down-to-earth, Twente atmosphere. People on the team are direct and straightforward. This is a 40-hour work week between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Alternating phone shifts are held in the evenings and on weekends.

Job requirements Chief Planner International Refrigerated Transport

• MBO+/HBO Transportation and logistics
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience as a Transportation Planner or Team Leader
• Strong affinity for TMS / IT systems  and applications
• German and English word
• Healthy ambition, analytical, coach and collaborate
• Leader, follow-through and fresh/innovative.
