Chief Transportation Planner

Do you have diesel in your blood and feel at home in a hectic fast-growing company and does getting things done go for you?  For our client Boekestijn Transport Service we are looking for a Senior planner / Head planner / Managerial planner who thinks and works with a team of 8 transport planners and 5 assistants. You will have a directing, managerial role in which you will be responsible for staffing and scheduling in addition to daily operational transportation planning. In this position, you will work from the office in Mill, North Brabant. On a daily basis, you will work with enthusiastic colleagues to ensure optimal international transport planning. Short, direct communication is what characterizes this family business.

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics.
• At least 5 years of experience as a transportation planner.
• Dutch, English and German.
• Leadership abilities.
• Getting things done mentality.
