Director of Operations

Ready for a solid operational challenge? At a successful transport organization under the smoke of the port of Rotterdam? Then you might be the new Director of Operations at Lensveld Transport BV. In this position, you are ultimately responsible for the entire operation of the transportation company and manage the planning/customer service, billing and workshop departments. You are a results-oriented liaison who speaks the right language at all levels and ensures that everyone does what is intended and exceeds customer expectations. As a leader and motivator, you possess a -getting things done- mentality and you bring in the right KPIs, monitor them, and know how to forge a team that achieves the best performance together. You have an affinity for special transport and feel at home in the world of offshore, oil & gas and steel. You report to the board of the LV-Shipping & Transport Group and are a member of the MT.
Job Requirements Director of Operations
- HBO/WO level preferably in the direction of logistics or business administration
- At least 5 years of management experience in transportation
- Catalyst in Bussines Development in logistics environments
- Good command of the English and German languages
- Leads the way, wants to collaborate, is decisive and incisive

Lensveld Transport BV is part of the LV Shipping & Transport group. The company consists of 500 employees spread across offices in England, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway and Asia. Specialists in land, sea and air freight, in short, freight forwarders with dedicated proprietary equipment for the oil and gas, offshore and steel industries.
