Entrepreneurial. Decisive. Planned. As Expediter at Emons Group in Milsbeek, you will be responsible for the (daily/weekly) filling of empty trips and the filling of empty transport capacity of the 2WIN fleet within all of Europe. With your commercial attitude, persuasiveness and creativity, you make clear and workable agreements between all parties involved and make sure they are complied with. You will liaise with both clients, carriers and colleagues from various Business Units within Emons. You provide the fulfillment of all empty capacity of the 2WIN network and are also responsible for improving the cost efficiency around the whole round-trip base principle. As Expediter you support the realization of optimal planning and know how to reduce the number of unloaded kilometers. 

Emons Group currently focuses on full-load freight, but wants to expand services by offering part-load capabilities to their existing and new customers. It’s up to you to set up this new service and successfully market it. The freights are carried 100% with the 2WIN double-deck trailers. We are looking for a proactive, incisive professional who loves challenges and will help further develop the department. You see opportunities, seize them but also know how to create new opportunities.You are aware of the latest developments within the world of Transport and towed equipment. As an Expediter, you will report to the Management. 

Job Requirements Expediter (M/F)

  • at least HBO working and thinking level;
  • Knowledge of the latest developments in the transportation industry and technical developments;
  • spider in the web of a complex organization and ditto European network;
  • solution-oriented;
  • analytical acumen and attention to detail;
  • incisive, doer;
  • Team player, but also decision maker;
  • communicative proficient, justify risks taken: learning-by-doing;
  • A good command of the Dutch, German and English languages.
