As Finance Manager at Van Duijn Transport , you really do have a broad role. In addition to all the usual duties of a Finance Manager, you will lead a team of 9 colleagues including a Head of Administration and a Head of HR. You are emphatically involved in the day-to-day operations where one of your tasks in the short term will be to put the AO/IC very sharply in place. You will also ensure that the various software applications communicate with each other correctly so that the right reports can be delivered at the right time. You function as the financial-economic conscience of Van Duijn Transport and are the point of contact for the bank and accountant.

• You have completed a relevant education, for example business economics or accountancy, preferably at an academic level.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience as an executive level financial manager within larger, complex highly business driven organizations. A background as an accountant where you have had logistics service providers as clients could also be a good fit.
• It is an advantage if this experience has been gained in an international context, in transport and/or logistics and you have knowledge of documentation for customs.
• You think and work in a structured and process-oriented manner, maintaining an overview from an objective and realistic point of view.
• You are hands on, entrepreneurial, visionary, authentic, driven and strongly goal and result oriented.
• You have excellent communication skills and are known in your environment as a firm personality.
• You have leadership experience. Preferably not only in finance, but preferably to other staff positions as well.
• Good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
