General Manager / CEO

For our client C. van Heezik Groep in Utrecht we are looking for an inspiring General Director. As General Director you are the face of the C. van Heezik Groep and ultimately responsible for the entire company consisting of the divisions Twinlogistics, Paper Logistics, Freezing Logistics. The divisions provide 3PL and 4PL value added services such as paperboard cutting and use   the more than 68,000 m2 of warehousing and crossdock facilities including cold storage. You will provide direct leadership to the directors of these divisions and oversee the commercial, operational and financial processes at every level in the organization including the staff services in the holding company. You ensure interconnection, synergy between divisions but most importantly for customer satisfaction, efficiency and profitability. You create transparency and streamlined processes in all layers of the organization. You will develop and inspire a shared vision and ensure measurable results at key positions. With your natural leadership and charisma, you will build a culture of trust and commitment.  

As Managing Director, you report to the major shareholders. In consultation with the MT and the DGAs, you determine the corporate strategy, organizational goals and (personnel) policies. You ensure that these are established in multi-year plans and that these plans are successfully realized.

• HBO+ / WO working and thinking level;
• Experience in 3PL, 4PL logistics is a plus;
