(Head) Transport Planner LTL

Do you make decisions easily? Do you take the lead and are you a coaching leader? For our client Matrans, a medium-sized Terminal in the Port of Rotterdam, we are looking for a senior candidate transport planner who will add value to the transport department with his/her experience and knowledge . 
The company wants to grow in groupage transportation. You will be responsible for building, sharing knowledge and operationally managing this department. In addition, you will coach a Transportation Coordinator in his role.
Your team consists of 5 fellow planners of different ages. With a total of 150 employees, the company stands for a total offering with high-quality services. Through the company, containers and breakbulk are transported around the world.

Job requirements (Head) Transport Planner LTL

  • MBO/HBO Logistics;
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in a similar position;
  • Knowledge and experience in Groupage transport across Europe;
  • English, German is pre;
  • Perseverance, decisive and collaborative;
  • Doer, analytically sharp, incisive.
