International Transportation Planner

Can you keep an overview and are you stress resistant? Do you keep what you promise? Do you prefer to be in the pivotal position where you make decisions when it comes to transportation planning? At Nederlandse Transport Maatschappij, they are looking for a proactive candidate with a sense of responsibility who knows how to get things done.

As an International Transportation Planner at N.T.M., you will be in charge of international planning. You will manage the drivers, be their point of contact and maintain contact with them throughout the day. You are open and clear in communication so the drivers know what they can get from you. In addition, you will be responsible for making a daily planning of the transports that mainly drive through the Benelux, Denmark, Germany and northern France. Because you are analytically strong and forward thinking you lead this in the right direction.

You will work directly with one other transportation planner and a back office employee. Working hours are during the day and working towards a structure where transportation planners alternate. This involves the daily scheduling of +/- 60 cars for bulk/silo transport.

We are looking for a candidate who lives up to expectations, ensures quality and is energized by putting down a knack for service in international logistics.

Job Requirements Junior International Transport Planner

• HBO/MBO working and thinking level;
• Relevant work experience as a logistics/transport planner is a plus;
• Geographical knowledge of the Benelux countries, Denmark, Germany and northern France;
• Good command of Dutch, German and English;
• Doer with a sense of responsibility.
