International Transportation Planner

Are you organizationally very strong and prefer to do this at the very highest level? Do you say what you do and do what you say? Do you have experience within transport and are you ready for a solid planner challenge in which you will have responsibility for your own department of international transport? We are looking for a proactive candidate for Carpenter Transport who just takes care of business top notch.

At Carpenter Transport, you will be responsible for the international piece. You are the point of contact for a regular group of drivers (30 people) and maintain contact with customers and fellow carriers with whom you work intensively in the exchange of freight. Per day you plan +- 20 own cars + a small flexible shell. The transports operate mainly in Scandinavia, Germany to northern France. You make price agreements and keep promises made!

You will work in a team of 10 people. Together you will work in a renovated office where there is room to expand. Working hours are between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. during the day. This is a work week of +- 40 hours.

Within the this entrepreneurial company, you will have the opportunity to build your own store. Job Requirements International Transportation Planner

• HBO/MBO+ working and thinking level;
• Relevant work experience as an (independent) logistics/ transport planner is a plus;
• Geographical knowledge of Scandinavia, Germany and the Benelux countries;
• Excellent command of Dutch, English (German is a plus);
• Proactive, responsible and self-starting;
• Doer with a sense of responsibility.
