Logistics Manager
Location: Deventer — Vos Transport Group
As Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for the transport to and from Scandinavia and England from the Deventer office. After identifying and determining customer needs, you will get to work on operational execution. As a true organizer, you take care of effective and efficient (trip) planning. In order to take the right actions you are analytical and continuously up to date with the latest developments, for example around the Brexit.
You maintain an overview of data, monitor KPIs and can take actions based on them.
With your leadership skills, you will direct 6 planners and work in the Planning Abroad department.
Intermodal transport involving multiple modes of transport (rail, sea and road) is the future. You are creative in optimizing margin by using these different modes of transportation. Your critical eye and good ideas help identify and implement operational improvements and business processes.
As Logistics Manager , you will report to the chief planner.

- HBO working and thinking level
- Leadership experience within the Transportation industry
- a good command of Dutch and English, German is a plus
- Knowledge of (international) Customs and Transport laws and regulations
- a hands-on mentality
