Working in the high-end of de luxury yacht building? You can in the new position of Manager Aftersales Wintercare at Wajer Yachts. Will you and your team ensure the best customer satisfaction? Then this is the job that will make your heart beat faster!

What will you do?
In this new position of Manager Aftersales Wintercare, you will be responsible for maintenance and service work on our yachts. Just as an example starting in September, when the boating season is over, over 100 Wajer yachts return for maintenance and/or storage. Together with your team, you will make sure that the Wajer’s look like new again and the customers will be back – without – a worry – in the spring.  go sailing.

During August and September you will travel regularly to Mallorca, Ibiza or southern Spain to inspect the boat with the owner and/or your team. What maintenance and service is needed? You prepare a quotation and discuss it with the customer. Depending on the amount of maintenance, you will decide whether the maintenance can be performed on site or whether transportation to Heeg must be arranged. You oversee the available space on site and are responsible for scheduling equipment and personnel.

You will lead a team of 15 people, each with their own specialization, in electronics, mechatronics and finishing work. Together with them you take a critical look at processes, working methods, logistics and techniques. What opportunities for optimization are there? You come up with proposals, for example, to further automate the accounting of hours and compile package prices on that basis. You promote the new updates of the systems and techniques to the customer. More boats are added every year, so it is important to set up our processes in such a way that they are ready for further scale-up and growth.
 
And our summer term? During the summer, service continues in the Hub’s and there is time for you to evaluate and make process improvements. So that everything is optimally prepared for the new winter season.

What do you bring?
As a person, you are commercially minded and sitting and a true organizer. You are a full-fledged discussion partner for our customers. They expect a lot from us, fortunately you know how to move along with their wishes and stand your ground when you have to. Your knowledge of technology allows you to see what maintenance is needed. In addition, you have an understanding of business processes and how to improve them. A background in LEAN or Agile is a plus in this regard.

Job Requirements Manager Aftersales Wintercare

  • Completed college education for example Technical Business Administration
  • At least 5 years of managerial aftersales experience
  • Work experience within the yacht building, automotive, truckmotive or luxury RV industry
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • You are willing to travel for an average of two months per year. This is sometimes a weekend, other times a few days during the week.
