Manager of Operations

In the role of Manager Operations you will be responsible for the operations within Dasko and manage the planning, customer service, x-dock and warehouse departments of both the Dutch and foreign branches . You initiate and lead (improvement) projects, bringing a lot of know-how in the field of (cost-) efficiency within refrigerated/freezer logistics. You are a go-getter who inspires and also likes to roll up your sleeves yourself. You have a relevant college degree in logistics or business administration. Working in a dynamic environment suits you down to the ground, and you are inventive and able to translate your analytical skills and strategic insight into pragmatic solutions in practice. You have well-developed communication skills at all levels. As a leader, you stand firm, delegating a lot but maintaining control. In short, we are looking for an incisive team builder.

The Manager of Operations reports to the Managing Director and is a member of the MT.

Job Requirements Manager Operations

• HBO educated 
• Multiple years of experience in conditioned transport
• People manager, incisive, team builder
• Demonstrated business acumen and successful track record
• English and German are self-explanatory
• Living within one hour travel distance
