Operations Director

Then read on, because we may be looking for you for Carpenter Transport! We would like to get in touch with an experienced people manager from the transportation and logistics industry. You stand for your people and you handle the dynamics in a family business well. You keep calm and together with your team you realize the set goals. Stick to the plan!

In this new position, you will be responsible for the entire operation of Carpenter Transport. You will lead Transportation Planning, Customer Service and work closely with HR and Administration. You will also consult regularly with the managers of the sister companies QFS and QTS. On a daily basis, you will spar with the various departments and coordinate processes in addition to daily operations. You will ensure a culture in which the development of the individual and the team is continuously paramount. You are responsible for the organization’s capital!

You will work in a passionate team with professionals who know what they are talking about. Within the team there is ample experience and it is up to you to put everyone in their strengths. The various operations are active between 6 a.m. and 2 a.m. in the morning. Within these times, work is done in alternating shifts.

JOB REQUIREMENTS OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

  • Minimum college business/logistics education
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience as a Manager in transportation/logistics
  • Experience in various development/improvement processes is a plus
  • Delegating, trusting, persevering
  • Leader, practical visionary, energetic and driven.
