Operations Director

Location: Barneveld — Van Kommer

As Operations Director, you carry responsibility for the day-to-day operations of Van Kommer. You will lead the Transportation, Warehousing, Customs & Forwarding departments. Here you optimize operational processes and increase efficiency.   Naturally, you have a particular eye for the well-being of your 60 colleagues. Your role is critical in developing and improving services while controlling costs. You report to the Managing Director for whom you are also a sparring partner.

Job Requirements

  • At least a completed college degree in logistics, business administration or a related field;
  • Demonstrated experience in a management position within the transportation or logistics industry;
  • Customer-oriented, proactive work attitude and excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Knowledge and experience in warehousing is a plus.
