Operations Manager Paper Logistics

Do you have leadership experience in logistics, do you keep an overview, are a process improver and know how to create support? Then we are looking for you for the position of Operational Manager Paper Logistics at C van Heezik in Utrecht. You manage logistics/warehousing as well as production. In the coming period, the company will continue to organize itself to get ready for further growth.

In this role, you are expected to be able to switch quickly between different levels. One minute you are managing the shop floor and an hour later you are meeting with one of your clients to make appointments and jointly monitor performance. We are looking for a candidate who sees the big picture. What impact does the decision I make now have on, for example, logistics and the production process. Demonstrated experience in and logistics and (production) engineering is a plus.
You contribute to clear, achievable goals and monitor these in clear KPIs which you share with your team. We are looking for a candidate who communicates clearly. People like working for you because you are clear, friendly and transparent. You are a coaching leader and you bring out the best in each individual. In this role, you will work collaboratively and report to the director of paper logistics. In his absence, you replace him.

JOB REQUIREMENTS OPERATIONS MANAGER PAPER LOGISTICS

• HBO working and thinking level;
• Demonstrated experience in logistics and (production) engineering;
• extensive experience as a senior manager;
• experience in warehousing;
• lean six sigma black belt;
• excellent MS Excel skills;
• Good English skills in word and writing;
• connecting and coaching leader;
• analytical.
