Operations Manager Warehouse

In this position you are operationally responsible for the Vos Transport location in Alblasserdam. Here there is room for 20,000 pallets, the fleet consists of 12 of our own trucks, supplemented daily by hiring charters. The operation is run by 10 people in the office (planning, customer service and customs) and 30 people in the warehouse. In short: a serious challenge in an organization with enormous potential. In the coming period, there are major challenges on the shelf where among them is the implementation of a new TMS package and subsequent new WMS. Previous experience with such trajectories is therefore required. As operations manager, you will ensure flawless communication between (distribution) planning, cross-dock and warehouse operations. You optimize and monitor processes and communicate clear (achievable) objectives to the teams.

• HBO working and thinking level;
• Managerial experience within a warehouse environment;
• Experience in warehouse layout;
• Experience with implementation processes;
• Innovative and always going for the highest achievement;

• Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages.

Excellent working conditions appropriate to the severity of the position. Salary level 60-70k gross per year.
