For our client Pultrum Rijssen, we are looking for a progressive, enthusiastic Operations Manager for distribution and storage and transshipment.
As a leader, you will ensure optimal deployment of people and equipment in the overall distribution process. Transportation, warehousing and cross-docking will be your responsibility. You will work closely with the (senior) planners, head of storage and handling and customer service. You ensure an optimal process, a productive, pleasant cooperation and a good supply of information to relations and employees.

The planning department consists of 4 full-time (senior) planners and an intern who are managed by you. As Manager you will monitor the schedule, identify (potential) problems in the process and make adjustments where necessary. You initiate process improvements and include your people in them.
Together with your team, you are responsible for the daily deployment of over 30 in-house drivers and +/- 30 charters and supervise the digital processing of transport orders.

As operations manager, you will also be responsible for analyzing and optimizing business processes. You ensure efficiency, quality and devise constructive improvements within the logistics process.
In this new, varied role, you will report to the Director of Operations.
