Team Leader / Manager of Distribution

Organizational talent, leadership qualities and experience in the transportation and distribution world? And, are you ready for a new, multifaceted challenge? For our client Oegema Transport we are looking for a progressive, enthusiastic Manager / Team Leader Distribution.
As leader of the distribution, you ensure optimal deployment of people and equipment, for the benefit of the (integral) planning process. You work closely with the planners, the crossdock and the customer service. You ensure an optimal process, a productive, pleasant cooperation and a good provision of information to drivers. 

The Planning Department consists of 5 full-time planners, who will be managed by you . As Manager you will monitor the planning, identify (potential) problems in the process and make adjustments where necessary. 
Together with your team, you are responsible for the daily deployment of over 140 drivers and supervise the digital processing of transport orders. 

As Manager / Team Leader Distribution, you will also be responsible for analyzing and optimizing business processes. You ensure efficiency, quality and devise constructive solutions within the logistics process.
In your varied role as Manager / Team Leader Distribution, you will report directly to the Manager of Operations.

• MBO+/HBO working and thinking level;
• Experience in distribution or transportation
• Demonstrated leadership experience;

• Excellent knowledge of Excel and others and you quickly master new programs;
• a good command of the Dutch language
