Transport coordinator Benelux

For Timmerman Transport, we are looking for an HBO-educated candidate who knows how to tackle things, solves things just right, wants to optimize processes and get better every day. In this position you will be responsible for supervising the transport and related distribution routes in the Benelux. You supervise drivers, interact with customers and fellow planners, and work together to optimize planning using planning software. In addition, you consider improvement projects in various areas. You will work in a team of 10 people. Together you will work in a renovated office where there is room to expand. In this position, you will work different shifts between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. Every 4 weeks, the schedule repeats itself. This is a work week of +-40 hours. Timmerman Transport is an entrepreneurial family business. A lot is happening and the organization is evolving. In addition to transportation, investments are being made in the latest logistics solutions.

Job requirements Transport coordinator Benelux

• HBO/MBO+ working and thinking level;
• Relevant work experience as an (independent) logistics/ transport planner is a plus;
• Geographical knowledge the Benelux.
• Excellent command of Dutch, English (German is a plus);
• Proactive, responsible and self-starting;
• Doer with a sense of responsibility.
