Transport planner Open and Exceptional Transport

Decisive, keep an overview and quickly switch with own group of drivers and customers. We are looking for a transportation planner open and exceptional transportation who oversees the diverse work and makes decisions at the right time. 
In this challenging position, you will plan open cars, flatbed trailers and crane trucks. You will be responsible for (technical) work preparation, instruct drivers and ensure good communication towards the client. With your team of about 45 drivers, you will ensure flawless transport with high quality equipment.

Job requirements Transport Planner Open and Exceptional Transport

  • Completed education at MBO/HBO level, preferably towards logistics
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a transportation planner position 
  • Affinity for construction and building materials is a plus 
  • Keeping an overview, decisive, quality conscious, commercial and analytical 
  • Natural superiority, stress resistant and knows how to set the right priorities 
  • You can get by in English and preferably German as well
  • Good geographical knowledge and experience with computerized scheduling systems
  • You live a maximum of 30 minutes travel from Heerenveen
