Transportation Coordinator
Location: Apeldoorn — Gebroeders Versteijnen Transport
Is team building and people management in logistics for you? For GVT Transport & Logistics Apeldoorn B.V. we are looking for a Transport Coordinator who will have full responsibility for the cooperation between planning, cross-dock, expedition and transports at the site. You are people-oriented and a connector who knows how to personally motivate each employee.
On a daily basis, you ensure that the aforementioned departments work together in the best possible way. You understand processes and make decisions when necessary. You will be responsible for the branch in the absence of the branch manager.
You will work in a team with 6 planners, 3 customer-service employees and over 80 drivers. A serious business in which you can make a difference. Together with the right people and resources in modern premises, the ambition to grow can be achieved.

- Experience in managing (transport) teams

Company Profile
GVT was founded in 1957 by Messrs. J.A.G and W.G.M. Versteijnen. In recent decades, the company went through numerous developments. From the Apeldoorn facility, 30 box trucks are managed with +-30 stops per day, 40 distribution trailers with +- 10 stops per day and a number of FTL transports from Tilburg and Veendam.
