Transportation Planner Distribution

No challenge is too crazy, problem solving and you dare to make decisions when it comes to transportation planning. You are analytically strong and you always think two steps ahead. As a Transport Planner at Timmerman Transport you will take care of the distribution planning for general cargo within the Benelux. From entry assignment, you pick it up, schedule it and make adjustments as needed. You always know how to keep in touch with drivers and customers in a directing and good way. A pivotal position that requires a planner with spirit.
The Benelux department employs four fellow planners with whom you will work directly. The department also includes a planner international, a planner glass distribution and an assistant planner. Work is done in alternating shifts between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m.

Job Requirements Transportation Planner Distribution

• MBO+ working/thought level
• 3 – 5 years relevant work experience as an (independent) logistics/ transport planner
• Excellent geographical knowledge of the Netherlands.
• Quick to switch gears, communication skills and accuracy.
• You are a real doer with a sense of responsibility.

Employment

Full-time position with the prospect of permanent contract. Working conditions depending on candidate as per collective bargaining agreement.
