Transportation planner special sizes

Overview, switching quickly, knowing what’s going on and who’s driving where. We are looking for a planner with substance; communicator at all levels. A smart, solid candidate who knows the ropes, has commercial acumen and is used to making quick decisions. 
In this position, you are responsible for matching available capacity in the form of drivers and cars with the transport orders to be carried out. You are the lynchpin between the dynamic planning of day itself and the capacity planning of the next day and maintain contact with fellow carriers as needed. Together with your colleagues, you plan the trips for and from the Northern Netherlands. Work hours stagger with the earliest start being 7:00 a.m. and ending no later than 8:30 p.m. Together with 12 colleagues, you work intensively together to get the daily planning right. 
Van der Werff is the specialist when it comes to transporting shipments with abnormal sizes including many building materials but also bulky and industrial products are part of the daily cargo flow. Job requirements Transportation planner special sizes

–    Completed college-level education. Preferably towards logistics –    At least 3 years of experience in a transportation planner position –    Affinity for construction and building materials is a plus –    Overview, decisive, quality conscious, commercial and analytical –    Natural superiority, stress-resistant and knows how to prioritize –    You can get by in English and preferably German. –    Good geographical knowledge. Experience with automated scheduling systems –    You live a maximum of 30 minutes travel from Heerenveen
