Transportation Planner

Solution-oriented, decisive and commercial, you are an optimistic person and remain in control in hectic situations. As a Transport Planner you play a central role where coordination with customers and internal departments is concerned. Balancing interests is an ongoing process when making decisions. The drivers are managed by you and they know what they have in your hands . When coordinating with drivers, you take a convincing approach and motivate them to always go for the best result. You will be responsible for creating a daily schedule of routes based on orders entered and available equipment and people. You will take into account applicable regulations regarding driving and rest periods and technical capabilities of the fleet.

Work takes place in a 24/7 rotating shift system with your colleagues. 

Location: Geldermalsen

Job Requirements Transportation Planner

• MBO-4 / HBO diploma logistics direction
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of driving and rest periods, topography and automated (scheduling) software, 
• Masters English and German in word and writing in addition to Dutch.
• Solution-oriented, communication and social skills, stress-resistant and accurate.
• Doer with an overview
